Program Requirements * Please confirm you meet the following program requirements. I am currently involved in a housing co-op I plan to remain involved in my housing co-op or another housing co-op for the next 1-2 years I have access to a computer or mobile device and internet I am able to attend a monthly weekend meeting of about 2 hours long as well as additional one-on-one mentoring meetings throughout the year I am able to attend at least one NASCO conference (NASCO Institute next fall or Leadership Conference in the spring) I am able to commit an average of 10 hours per month (including monthly meetings, reading assignments, and educational events) I am willing to participate in building and enforcing standards for conduct among the cohort through a community agreement process If you do not meet all of the above program requirements please describe why you are still a good fit for this program Describe your experience with housing cooperatives * How will you use this program to support / grow the cooperative movement? * What role do you see cooperatives playing in your life five years from now? * Describe the cooperative leader you aspire to be / how do you hope to practice cooperative leadership? * Do you have any accessibility needs we should know about? * Black Equity Scholarship Yes, I am eligible and would like to apply for the Black Equity Scholarship We will be offering up to three black equity scholarships to cover the full program costs along with a $2500 stipend for each recipient. Black equity scholarships will be offered to offset the history of black inequity in housing cooperatives. Any black cooperator that is accepted to the Cooperative Leadership Certification Program is eligible to apply for the scholarship.
