The SCA is three houses. Our mission is to provide affordable and sustainable housing for students. Two houses are focuses on undergraduate students and one house is focused on graduate students and non-traditional undergraduate students.

Internship Position Title:
Sustainable System Design and General Maintenance Intern
Internship Position Duties:
The intern will work with the maintenance coordinator to develop and/or retrofit systems to be more energy efficient, utilizing appropriate technology when possible. Participation in the construction of small building repair projects using available materials when possible.
Room is provided. Board is light. The SCA does not have summer food plan, but we do have access to a local food bank for no-cost food. We are providing a small stipend for food for this reason.
Position Training:
Most of the education and training that is offered is self-directed. The SCA does have member resources available for construction project guidance.
Skills Development & Learning:
Gain experience working with tools, building maintenance, energy grant writing, and learning how some alternative systems work.
