In 2012, the Berkeley Student Cooperative (BSC) performed a survey of the socio-demographics of its entire membership. The survey had an overall response rate of 73% (1,256 members). The survey document, the survey results, and multiple presentations/ analyses of the survey results are attached. The BSC intends to conduct on a periodic basis in order to have more definitive data on their membership over time.
Additionally, in 2014, the BSC surveyed its membership on their overall satisfaction with various elements of their housing experience. The results of that survey are attached. The BSC intends to conduct this survey on an annual basis in order to be able to track trends over time and gauge the success of new projects, programs, and initiatives.
